Sandals Resorts International plans to open a fourth resort on the island of St Lucia.

Work on Sandals LaSource St Lucia is slated to begin in spring 2017 on land adjacent to the existing Sandals Grande St Lucian Resort.

"Sandals LaSource St Lucia will completely re-energize the tourism market in St Lucia.  Since we first opened Sandals Regency La Toc in 1993 we have consistently invested millions of dollars to re-imagine our offerings and the St Lucian destination is among the best in the world and thereby boosting the local economy," said Sandals chairman, Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart.

It will feature 350 rooms and suites including  SkyPool Butler and all-new swim-up Rondoval Suites, an infinity-edge sky pool bar with ocean views, nine dining venues, a full service Red Lane Spa and shopping plaza.

"We are very excited about the addition of this 6-Star resort and what it means not just for Sandals but for St Lucia. We are thankful for the support we have received in St Lucia throughout the years and we look forward to revolutionizing the hospitality industry and giving our guests a new level of luxury," he added.

The company currently operates Sandals Regency La Toc, Sandals Halcyon and Sandals Grande St Lucian on the island.
