New ski flights from Edinburgh
Flights to Chambery in the heart of the French Alps are to be run from Edinburgh this winter by Jet2.com.
The budget airline will operate two flights a week from December 15 with fares starting at £28.99 including taxes.
Saturday and Sunday departures are scheduled to Chambery, within 90 minutes of ski resorts such as Meribel, Morzine, Val d’Isere, the Three Valleys and L’Espace Killy.
The French destination is the sixth route to be operated by the airline from the Scottish capital.
