New travel management company promises corporate savings
A recently launched global travel management joint venture can reduce corporate travel expenditures by up to 30%, says Linda Garback, CEO of Global Experts in Travel (GET).
“We’re synchronized the whole process. Everything is standard. We’ve negotiated with out preferred booking vendors for tools that allow us to offer lower pricing while still remaining profitable,” she said.
GET is a single-branded venture with more than $1.8 billion in annual airline sales.
“Corporations are seeking a streamlined means of managing their global travel expenditures and GET truly provides that solution, via the merging of several quality-driven global travel management companies into one strategic thinking cohesive organization, she said.
Ms Garback thinks GET can supply similar services of much larger companies at far lower costs, as little as $8 for a basic service compared to more typical $11 or $12 for industry giants.
“Our ‘Get Connected-Stay Connected” multilingual Web-based global travel portal allows corporations to create a secure ‘one stop-shopping’ on-line source,” she said. The portal has the capability of integrating multiple global on-line booking tools, consolidating global travel management reporting in real time, and managing a corporation’s preferred vendor negotiation programs.
The program also offers 24/7 service worldwide.
Headquartered in Troy, MI, GET has over 1800 worldwide associates.
