Travel bookings via The Guardian’s website are to be provided through a white label arrangement with Expedia Affiliate Network.
The co-branded deal provides user of www.guardian.co.uk/travel access to flights, hotels, car hire and destination activities through a tailor-made portal.
All dynamically packaged holidays created that include a flight element are ATOL protected.
Guardian News and Media head of ventures Kate Morgan-Locke said: “The travel section of our site is consistently one of the most popular with our readers.
“We attract users with a wide variety of travel tastes from the more traditional to the extreme.
“Our users take multiple holidays throughout the year from longer holidays to more exotic destinations, to weekend city breaks and everything in between, so it was key for us to partner with a travel company that does offer a wide range of options specifically tailored to each individual customers needs.
“The scale of the Expedia product offering and the destinations served is second to none and we look forward to working with them.”
EAN works with more than 10,000 private label partners including Greenbee, Avis, Tiscali, Eurostar, Lonely Planet, Moto GP, Sky, Ab-in-den-Urlaub.de, Travelpartner.se, Holland.com, Weg.de, eDreams and 20 airline partners.
