Nordic charter airline Sunclass joins A4E
Airlines for Europe has welcomed Nordic charter airline Sunclass Airlines as its 17th full member.
Founded more than 60 years ago, Sunclass Airlines is part of the Nordic Leisure Travel Group.
It flies from Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland to the Mediterranean, West Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean.
‘’We are delighted to welcome Sunclass Airlines to the A4E family. Their expertise in the tourism and charter airline markets will complement our activities,” said Ourania Georgoutsakou, Managing Director of A4E.
“The addition of Sunclass Airlines to the A4E membership illustrates the diversity of Europe’s aviation market.”
Sunclass Airlines is the largest charter airline in the Nordics.
It carries over 1,1 million guests on holiday every year from 32 Nordic airports.
Parent company Nordic Leisure Travel Group includes tour operators Spies, Ving Sweden, Ving Norge, Airshoppen, Globetrotter and Tjäreborg.
It also owns branded hotel chains Sunwing Family Resorts, Ocean Beach Club and Sunprime.
