Northern Ireland agency signs with Amadeus
McNeill Rigby has dropped Galileo and signed up with Amadeus.
The Northern Ireland travel agency has signed with Amadeus for three years. The agency, which processes about 50,000 segments per year, has installed Amadeus Vista on terminals in its Belfast office.
Amadeus managing director, Arnaud Debuchy said: “We are delighted to have signed McNeill Rigby Travel, arguably the most technologically advanced agency in Northern Ireland. We see them as our flagship in the Province and feel that with our first signing we have started at the top.”
McNeill Rigby managing director, Stuart Knox added: “We felt it was time for change and are delighted to have had the opportunity to sign with Amadeus. We can see the Amadeus system being tailored to suit the needs of our diverse niche markets. The next few years are going to be very exciting.”
According to Amadeus it now serves 59,200 travel agency locations and more than 10,400 airline sales offices worldwide.
