Norwegian Viva, the second of six vessels the new Prima Class, has floated from drydock at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera Italy

The float out marks the completion of external works and painting of Norwegian Viva, including the hull artwork designed by Italian graffiti artist Manuel Di Rita.

Construction now moves on to interior fittings and guest accommodations.

Viva is expected to start sailing in 2023.

“The float out of Norwegian Viva has been much anticipated and it’s an incredibly proud day for us all,” said Harry Sommer, president and chief executive officer of NCL. “

It comes just days after NCL of Norwegian Prima, the first of the Prima Class ships.
