Novotel Pacific Bay appoints new Sales head
General Manager of Novotel Pacific Bay Resort Greg Erwin has announced the appointment of Maree Walden as the resort’s new Director of Conference Sales.
Maree brings a diverse range of skills and over twenty years experience in both corporate and community sectors to this role. For the past two years Maree was employed as an Executive Officer at Coffs Coast Tourism, where her role entailed high profile management and representation of Coffs Coast tourism, including building strategic partnerships with all stakeholders and networks, and developing and implementing strategic marketing plans. Prior to this Maree gained extensive tourism experience working in positions at Friday Creek Retreat and at the Pavilion Hotel and The Park Hotel in Sydney.
For the past two years she has also acted in an advisory capacity as the Tourism Marketing Advisor for the Tourism Marketing Advisory Committee division of the Coffs Harbour City Council.
Maree’s main responsibilities will be driving and supervising the successful conference sales department at Novotel Pacific Bay Resort. She plans to capitalise on previous successes by implementing strategic marketing plans, in order to enhance and develop the conference sales market for the hotel.
