Oahu relaxes some Covid curbs
Covid infections has eased on Oahu, allowing Hawaii Governor David Ige to relax some restrictions on the island. Now ‘professionally-managed events’ will be permitted for up to 1,000. It includes outdoor seated events, such as sports fixtures while indoor events for up to 500 attendees will be allowed from next week.
Now, bars are able to serve alcohol until midnight, compared to the current 10pm cut-off time. All establishments including bars and clubs are still capped at 50% capacity.
