OETG launches wholesale division
Australian travel company Orient Express Travel Group has established a wholesale division which will operate under the combined brands of CP Holidays and CP Tours.
Cathay Pacific Holidays (CX Holidays), operated in Australia by OETG, will also move to the wholesale division, located at new premises at Level 7, 451 Pitt Street, Sydney.
OETG’s previous wholesale brand Orient Express Holidays has been merged into CP Holidays, an outbound service specialising in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan and Indochina.
As OETG’s inbound operator, CP Tours specialises in accommodation rates for Australia and New Zealand, tours and transfers for both FIT and groups.
CX Holidays specialises in Hong Kong and China programs from Australia.
The new division, headed by Nelson Chau as OETG Wholesale Manager, evolved from OETG merging Chung Pak Travel into its operations late 2005.
CEO of OETG, Tom Manwaring said the new division would deliver “great fares and exceptional rates”.
As a diversified travel company, Orient Express Travel Group is also a consolidator (Express Ticketing and Express Fares for The Select Travel Group and other travel agent networks), a retailer (AST student travel brand) and a corporate travel management company (Orient Express Travel Corporate which includes MICE services).
