On the Beach unveils industry first ‘Price Drop Protection’ guarantee
On the Beach is offering a price drop protection guarantee for early bookers.
Customers have until midnight, 3 February to guarantee the lowest price.
It is an industry first initiative, On the Beach says.
The Price Drop Protection offer kicks in if customers see the price of their holiday drop between booking and 60 days before departure.
They can claim back the difference, no matter how much it drops by, the company says.
It is designed to give customers peace of mind.
Recent research from On the Beach finds that 40% of customers feel anxious, stressed or worried about not having their summer holiday booked yet.
It says 63% are waiting to book their holiday to see if a better deal comes up.
Zoe Harris, chief customer officer at On the Beach, said: “We know that a whopping 75% of holiday wanting Brits are worried about prices going up if they wait, yet many are willing to take the risk”
“We’re now eliminating all risk and worry for customers with our industry first Price Drop Protection.”
Other research revealed that more than a third (36%) are spending more on their summer holiday this year.
OTB has current deals applicable for the price drop protection to Antalya, Turkiye, Rhodes, Costa Brava, Sharm El Sheikh and more.
