Online booking introduced by cutural tours specialist
A fully integrated online booking facility has been developed for cultural tours company Martin Randall Travel.
The operator’s new website www.martinrandall.com features changes to its structure, appearance and functionality.
Internet strategy experts Nucleus developed the site.
The operator’s marketing manager Guy Hinton said: “The market has changed substantially for us since our inception in 1998.
“Not only is our client base growing rapidly with a move into North America and Australasia, but the internet has also had a fundamental impact on our operations.”
Lindsey Cunningham of Nucleus said: “Martin Randall currently spends about £14 on each well-produced brochure plus a further £5 on postage.
“Huge cost savings can be made by pointing repeat and new customers to the web instead.
“With its customer base expanding globally, we are helping Martin Randall to reach them with a web presence that is optimised to intercept interest-based holiday searches.
“Finally, it is not a difficult product to sell online as tours have set departure dates and capacities and are fully inclusive. Online sales capture customers in out-of-office hours, with a wider geographic spread and at a lower cost than a call centre.”
