Oodles.com expands into US, UK and New Zealand markets
Oodles.com today can now offer Australian travellers the ability to search, compare and book live car rental rates in the United States, the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
Trans-Tasman travellers can now use the award-winning company to secure the cheapest rates from the four leading car rental brands operating in New Zealand, including Avis, Budget, Hertz and Europcar.
Travellers can also search, compare and book rental vehicles from Avis, Budget and Hertz at more than 2000 locations in the United States and more than 400 locations across the United Kingdom.
As with Oodles.com’s Australian operation, all international prices are retrieved directly from the car rental companies’ own reservation systems, ensuring inventory is accurate and confirmation is instant. Unlike other online travel sties, travellers using Oodles.com also pay no service fees or booking charges.
Oodles.com Founder and Managing Director Steve Sherlock said the addition of three key international destinations for Australian travellers was the first step in taking the company’s brand on to the international stage.
“We intend to steadily expand our inventory to offer Australian and New Zealand travellers a full range of international destinations,†Sherlock said. “In particular we will now strongly focus on entering markets in Asia Pacific, where we intend to make the Oodles.com brand synonymous with car rental.â€
Oodles.com already allows travellers to search, compare and book live rates from Australia’s five leading car rental brands – Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and Thrifty – at more than 700 depots across Australia.
