Orion Expedition Cruises Expands Horizons
Orion Expedition Cruises has announced the appointment of Karen Wiseman as General Manager Global Marketing and Sales Strategy, based in California, with Sarina Bratton, Founder and Managing Director explaining, “Karen’s relocation to North America has provided us with the opportunity to realign our resources to better penetrate the international markets, whilst retaining Karen’s experience and expertise in marketing and brand management.”
“Over the coming years, we need to dedicate resources to further expand our international FIT and charter business, whilst maintaining our dominant presence in Australia.” “This will put us in a good position to grow the business and expand inventory.”
Chris Perkins has been appointed Sales and Marketing Manager Asia Pacific and will join the Sydney Head Office in mid-January 2008.
Chris has a broad range of commercial marketing experience in the travel, retail and cruise industries in the UK and Europe, having worked with the multinational leisure travel company – Mytravel Group.
Reporting to Karen, Chris will manage the Sydney based Sales and Marketing team providing direction for activities in Australia and expansion of Orion Expedition Cruises into new markets in Asia Pacific.
Karen Wiseman will relocate to California at the end of January 2008.
