Outrigger names new Asia Pacific sales and marketing VP
Outrigger Hotels and Resorts named long serving Andrew Gee as new vice president of sales and marketing – Asia Pacific.
For the past three years Gee has been the Sydney based regional director of sales and marketing, Australia and New Zealand and prior to that spent more than a decade as director of sales and marketing at Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort.
"The efforts of Andrew and his team led Outrigger Resorts to win the ‘Best Hotel/Resort Chain’ title at the prestigious National Tourism Industry Association (NTIA) Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) Awards in 2016 and we’re confident that his skill set will translate seamlessly to his expanded role in the Asia Pacific and Indian Ocean regions," said Sean Dee, EVP and chief marketing officer at Outrigger Enterprises Group.
Gee began his travel industry career at Thomas Cook Travel and prior to joining Outrigger was director of sales – inbound (international) for Intercontinental Hotels Group.
