Oxford Ski Company buys luxury brand
Luxury ski specialistThe Oxford Ski Company has bought four-year-old Summit Retreats.
As a result of the acquisition, Summit founder Robin Quarrelle has joined The Oxford Ski team to drive sales and grow the company further.
Rupert Longsdon of The Oxford Ski Company said: "Our discerning clientele value our approach and knowledge and it is based on our honest and impartial advice we have built such an excellent relationship which has resulted in repeat business and referrals over the years.
"We were keen to take the business to the next level and our plans to expand and grow our client base further provided us with an excellent opportunity to acquire Summit Retreats which was particularly appealing as they shared the same values to ensure consistency in our approach and delivery."
Quarrelle founded Summit Retreats four years ago having spent numerous years in the ski industry both working in Verbier and the UK.
His expertise also extends to the luxury safari market working both in Africa and as a tour operator in the UK.
Longsdon added: "We’re excited with the direction we want to take the company forward together and with the experience and expertise of Robin, this will help grow The Oxford Ski Company’s share of the luxury ski market".
