OYO Rooms inventory to list again on MakeMyTrip
India based accommodation booking platform OYO Rooms is back on leading online travel platform MakeMyTrip after a two-year gap.
OYO was pulled from the MakeMyTrip platform in October 2015 but now the companies seemed to have settled their differences.
At the time MakeMyTrip distanced itself from budget accommodation aggregators.
That is still OYO Rooms core market although it has since started to reposition itself to a managed franchise hotel business model.
OYO CEO Ritesh Agarwal said it has about 60,000 rooms under the franchise model.
"We are excited to extend our offerings of beautiful living spaces to them through MakeMyTrip and GoIbibo," Agarwal said.
Rajesh Magow, co-founder and CEO, MakeMyTrip said: With OYO’s evolution as a full-scale hospitality company, we are excited to offer their award-winning chain of hotels in the value economy and mid-market category through MakeMyTrip and Goibibo platforms."
