Page & Moy parent recruits former Thomson sales chief

Former Thomson sales chief William Burton has been named group CEO of Page & Moy parent company Kaleidoscope Travel Group.

He joins from the Rural Payments Agency where he was interim chief operating officer.

Burton’s 15 years-worth of travel industry experience includes time at British Airways, Thomson Holidays, Thistle Hotels, Air Miles and Kuoni in a variety of top level sales, marketing, operations and general management positions.

Beside Page & Moy, his new remit covers the Travelsphere and Just You brands. All operate in the escorted tours arena

He said: “Over the last few years the Kaleidoscope Travel Group has become the UK’s leading operator of escorted holidays worldwide and I look forward to becoming a part of the team.

“In my new role I will be helping to continue the good work already put in motion by the current team to provide excellent customer service as well as value for money holidays.”
