Passenger leaps out of moving plane
A passenger was detained after jumping out of a taxiing plane at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. The flight was taxiing to the gate after touching down from Colorado Springs.
Daniel Ramirez was booked for trespass. He ran across the tarmac to an airport fire station and was apprehended a short time later.
Southwest Airlines spokesperson Dan Landson said he ‘exited the aircraft via a rear galley door.’
Phoenix Police said an investigation is ongoing.
