PATA teams up with Equator Learning for agent training initiative

Monday, 03 Mar, 2017 0
The Pacific Asia Travel Association has partnered with Equator Learning to enable destinations to create online learning tools for travel agents.

The Asia & Pacific Expert allows PATA members to create learning modules that provides agents with essential content about a destination enabling them to sell it effectively with confidence.

"Knowledge is power. You have heard that many times before and know it to be 100% correct. Travel agents are becoming increasingly time poor and are picking up unqualified knowledge. This can damage a destination and its reputation," said Chris May, managing director of Equator Learning.

"The Asia & Pacific Expert is an efficient and user-friendly solution for all destinations, providing a clear and reliable source of information for travel agents."

It promotes a destination as well supports any existing learning platform.

Asia Pacific destinations modules will be grouped together enabling agents globally to quickly access all destinations as a first one-stop shop for the region.

Equator Learning creates online training and engagement portals for the travel and leisure industry and works with companies and destinations including Las Vegas, Alaska, SAGA Holidays and Sandals Resorts.
