Pegasus Airlines, Iberia sign codeshare agreement
Turkish carrier Pegasus Airlines has inked a new codeshare agreement with Spain’s Iberia.
The codeshare pact enables the network expansion of both for more seamless connections on each other’s flight.
It aims to streamline connectivity between Spain, Türkiye and other key markets like Portugal and Latin America.
Iberia customers will now be able to travel to new destinations in Türkiye via Pegasus Airlines flights, on Iberia’s code.
Via a direct flight between Madrid and Istanbul, connections are available to seven domestic destinations: Izmir, Kayseri/Cappadocia, Ankara, Antalya, Dalaman, Bodrum and Adana.
Plus, Pegasus Airlines will place its code on Iberia-operated flights from Madrid to several destinations in Spain, Portugal, and Brazil.
Pegasus customers will be able to travel to eleven Spanish cities — including Palma de Mallorca, Gran Canaria, Ibiza, La Coruña, Asturias, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Vigo, Malaga, Seville, and Tenerife North as well as Lisbon in Portugal.
