Penfolds Pre Release Grange Dinners in April – amazing!

Sunday, 23 Mar, 2007 0

I could not help myself by including this news item today, not least of all because The Mole enjoyed the most amazing dinner at the Penfolds Magill Estate Winery during ATE in 2006, but also that surely this has to be the pinnacle for all wine buffs in Australia.

Penfolds are offering you or your clients, the opportunity to be among the first to taste the 2002 Penfolds Grange at one of a range of exclusive pre-release dinners at Penfolds Magill Estate Restaurant, which is really close to the city centre in Adelaide, between Tuesday April 1st and Saturday April 21.

To celebrate the release of 2002 Penfolds Grange, Penfolds Magill Estate Restaurant is hosting a week of special Degustation Dinners showcasing the very best produce matched with Penfolds Icon Wines.

Diners will have the opportunity to meet the Penfolds winemakers, taste the new release Penfolds Icon wines and enjoy a five course degustation menu, with the highlight of the evening being a ten year comparison tasting with 1992 Grange.

Now just in case the food also interests you, as it should, this is the menu: –
