Christopher Pointaux made Rayavadee GM
Rayavadee, the luxury resort set within Krabi’s Marine National Park has announced the appointment of Christophe Pointaux to the position of General Manager. Christophe joins Rayavadee from the pre-opening team of the Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong where he held the position of Director of Food & Beverage and helped the hotel gain international recognition.

His knowledge of the industry, combined with his international experience will prove a great asset to the Rayavadee team.â€
Establishing his career at the Relais & Chateaux-accredited Hôtel de Crillon in Paris, Christophe went on to further his experience at properties in France including the 3 Star Michelin accredited Hôtel la Côte d’Or.
Christophe’s career then took him overseas to Chateaux Hôtel la Colombe d’Or in Houston, Texas where he was head of restaurant and catering operations and later to Sydney, Australia where he successfully managed and developed restaurant group, Radio Cairo, as Food & Beverage Manager.
Ready for a new challenge, Christophe joined Frégate Island Private, Seychelles in 2000, as Food & Beverage Manager, and was rapidly promoted to Deputy General Manager, taking charge of the island operation in the absence of the Managing Director.
After a year-long, trip around the world, Christophe built on his managerial experience and moved to Star Bright, a fast-growing hospitality group specialising in food concepts and management in Hong Kong. As General Manager, he helped the infant company to grow with the creation of an innovative all-day dining concept, Café O.
Rayavadee is a luxury resort and member of The Leading Hotels of the World, with 103 rooms and suites set within Krabi’s Marine National Park, surrounded by limestone cliffs and hidden among the palm trees and coconut groves lining sandy beaches.
