Phuket Air ups Bangkok flights
Thai carrier Phuket Air is raising Gatwick-Bangkok frequency from four to five flights a week.
The airline started flying from the UK July with three flights a week and has increased frequency since.
The new Friday service starts on December 17 giving the airline departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Phuket Air’s UK spokesman Gordon MacFarland said the airline was “looking forward to possible new routes in the new year” due to the demand received for the Gatwick-Bangkok flights.
Flights are operated by Boeing 747-300s with economy and business class cabins. Business class has 34 seats with a 50 inch seat pitch while economy has 390 seats with a 34 inch seat pitch.
