Phuket hotel rebranded to Amatara wellness resort

Sunday, 12 Oct, 2015 0
The Regent Phuket Cape Panwa resort has been rebranded and will now market itself as a wellness destination.

The resort has been taken over by Thai company Amatara and renamed the Amatara Resort & Wellness.

The resort’s spa will be expanded in the coming months with a ‘Thai hammam,’ a salt relaxation room and new treatments.

The resort will continue to offer existing facilities including six restaurants and bars, pool villas and 105 rooms and suites.

The management change leaves Regent with just three hotels currently operating in Asia, but it recently announced plans for new luxury hotels in Jakarta, Indonesia and Chongqing, Harbin and Xi’an in China.
