The bitter pill of defeat could be assuaged for England fans on Pierre & Vacances holidays this June after the operator launched a World Cup Lotto.
The lottery will mean that if France, Spain or Italy win a game when a Pierre & Vacances customer is staying in a property in the respective country, they will be given €100 off the price of their next holiday.
TV screens will be erected at every property to show all the games.
To enter the lotto, customers need to visit the Pierre & Vacances Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/PVholidays and enter their booking details.
A voucher will then be sent to any winning customers upon their return to the UK.
Pierre & Vacances is currently running more two summer deals. Its Mega Offer campaign runs until June 21 and gives customers summer holiday accommodation from €5 per person, per night.
It is also offering up to €400 off its resorts in France, Spain and Sardinia this summer for all bookings made before the 3rd July 2010.
