PlacesTo Stay in US home working agency deal
Online hotel booking programme PlacesToStay has signed a deal with US homeworking agency group InteleTravel.com.
Thousands of part-time independent agents will be supplied with the FEXCO AllTravel company’s inventory of over 25,000 hotels.
Florida-based InteleTravel.com is a licensed online travel agency with a worldwide network of agents. It was established in 1998 as the online successor to InteleTravel International, the originator of the home-based travel agent concept in the US.
FEXCO AllTravel’s head of distribution and business development Tim Wright said: “This is a great deal with InteleTravel.com as it puts PlacesToStay on the desktops of many thousands of active agents in the US and abroad.
“InteleTravel.com is a seriously big business achieving many millions of dollars of sales through its home-based and other independent travel agents. I expect good booking volumes through the InteleTravel.com network as our hotel inventory extends its product range.
“Homeworker agents are a growing force here in the UK too, and I see good opportunities for online-based product suppliers like PlacesToStay.”
