PR experts announce new digital comms business

Wednesday, 16 Sep, 2019 0

Five directors across the travel and lifestyle PR companies have launched ClickSHARE, a business collective offering the full suite of earned and organic digital communications services.

ClickSHARE offers a bespoke add-on service for easy integration into existing PR plans,  avoiding the pitfalls of ‘silo-ing’ digital activity.

The five already run individually successful consultancies, and have delivered many of their clients’ digital, social and influencer strategies over the last decade.

ClickSHARE offers all of  the digital expertise with no traditional agency overheads and exclusively senior support from strategy through to delivery and measurement.

The new service seeks to bring clarity to digital PR for travel, beauty and lifestyle, avoiding costly duplication and unaligned messaging when digital and ‘traditional’ activity are separated.

It aims to erase the frequent client confusion over where responsibility for digital, social and influencer strategy sits.

ClickSHARE will offer a range of bolt-on digital services, dependent on client need, to tailor what the social and digital component of the communications plan looks like.

There will be a particular focus on delivering the right ratio of digital PR within a client’s overall communications mix, and detailed selection of influencers based on criteria beyond the follower count.

Services available will include: one-off digital content audits, social media training, content strategy, content creation and curation, social media management and planning, maximising earned media coverage, influencer outreach, social metrics and listening, best practice training and online crisis management. Support for short term creative projects as well as long term strategy will be available.

The five are, from left: Waddell Communications founder Emma Waddell; Prior PR founder Louise Prior; Wonder founder Lynda Daboh; Roast PR found Madeleine Roast and TippetPR founder Karen Tippett. Each has at least 20 years’ experience in travel PR.

Waddell, who previously headed up PR at Thomson and First Choice, said: "We’ve been responsible for clients’ earned and organic digital strategy both formally and informally for a while now. Through ClickSHARE’s bespoke bolt-on services our offering in this area is formalised"

Prior added: "The explosion in social media and digital communications has led in some instances to a division of skillsets; when the answer is to combine, not separate."

The ClickSHARE collective of independent consultants can work alone for a senior personalised digital service, but also draw on the multi-sector digital experience between them to collaborate on client projects without the need to manage multiple agencies.
