Prestige recruits new staff after business surge
Prestige Holidays has increased its team by 10 following a big upsurge in business in the last quarter.
The independent operator has taken on new staff in reservations, marketing and administration.
John Dixon, Presitge Holidays chairman and managing director, said: "Our European Destinations programme is up 14% year on year and our Canada business is up 30%.
"We have also seen an 18% increase in our Croatia sales and a 12% rise in our UK business.
"The new staff have been appointed to cope with these increases and to help with the additional sales coming in from Sicily, which is our new star destination for 2013. We have already sold 70% of our budget for this stunning island."
Prestige’s Lowestoft based Canada team plans further expansion and a move to a larger office by the end of the year.
