Princess announces new prices for Wave campaign

Wednesday, 03 Dec, 2019 0

Princess Cruises has announced a limited lead in fare of £499, which can be secured with deposits of just £50.

The lead in prices are applicable for cruises booked from December 20 to March 2. They apply to all 1,600 Princess cruises for the first time up to April 2022.

The cruise line has also launched a new onboard ‘added value package’, which includes premium drinks, wifi and gratuities for £35 per person per day.

Princess is paying agents commission for bookings of the onboard bundle, which can be added to retail and net fares for both new and existing bookings. UK and Europe vice president Tony Roberts said the bundle was worth at least £70 per person per day. They will be on sale for an indefinite period, he added.

"This is really two promotions, a great price with a low deposit, or a great price, low deposit and onboard package," he added.

"We have got lots of capacity and we are really focused on continuing to grow in the UK, so we wanted to make sure that we have a strong offer in the key selling period."
