Princess Cruises has promoted Mario Siebaldi to the new position of senior vice president of guest operations.

Siebaldi was most recently vice president of guest services and technology at Princess and has spent 25 years with the cruise line.

"Mario is a respected leader in our organization and brings an in-depth understanding of our operations to his expanded role," said Rai Caluori, executive vice president of guest experience and product development.

"With his continued dedication and commitment to the Princess brand, Mario will be integral in supporting the fleet to ensure our guests ‘come back new.’"

Siebaldi will oversee a team responsible for delivering the cruise line’s ‘come back new’ brand message.

The new executive role effectively combines the guest food and beverage experience division and the guest services and technology team.
