Princess Cruises whistleblower gets travel trade support
A British engineer deserved his $1 million reward for reporting that Princess Cruises was illegally polluting the ocean, according to travel agents.
The engineer found that Caribbean Princess was using a secret pipe to get rid of oily waste off the coast of Britain.
He collected evidence, including photos of the pipe, which led to the cruise line being fined $40 million.
When asked in a TravelMole poll if the engineer who blew the whistle deserved his $1 million payout, almost 70% of you agreed that he did.
