Princess Cruises is bringing its Bon Voyage program to Australia in a move that will revive the tradition of onboard farewells from the early days of cruising.
The new program will give passengers in Sydney and Melbourne the opportunity to invite their friends and family aboard their ship on embarkation day to wish them “bon voyage” and get a taste of the onboard experience.
The ability to reserve this program will launch on July 1 for sailings departing this October. The program will also be available on Sea Princess when she arrives in Australia late 2011.
Passengers can now invite their friends to join them, spending approximately four hours together on the ship before it sets sail – plus enjoy a four-course dining room lunch, a ship tour and even a souvenir photo to take home. The cost for the unique program is AUD49 inc GST per person.
Agents will be able to find more information about the new Bon Voyage ExperienceSM visitor program from May 21 through www.completecruisesolution.com.au and in-port guests can be booked by calling 13 24 88, beginning 120 days before the cruise and up to six days before the sailing date
The number of guests able to participate in the Bon Voyage Experience on any given embarkation day will be approximately 50.
