Printmytrip launched by Amadeus

Saturday, 18 Jul, 2011 0

Amadeus has launched in Asia Pacific the Amadeus Printmytrip, a solution that enables travel quotations, itineraries and electronic tickets to be customised according to the travellers’ needs.

Travel agents can modify the design layout and include airline contact details, weather forecast at the travellers’ destination, emergency contact numbers and other important information.

Amadeus said Printmytrip provides travellers “with a more informative, professional travel document to meet individual travel needs”.

Bruno des Fontaines, vice president, business solutions for Amadeus Asia Pacific said, “This new solution…. has the potential to positively impact a travel agency’s brand. Travellers will also benefit from the added convenience of having additional booking information on their itineraries that previously was not possible.”

Amadeus Printmytrip, which is fully integrated with the Amadeus Selling Platform, enables travel agents to brand the itinerary and upsell products and services to provide an alternative source of revenue through advertising.

Amadeus Printmytrip will be rolled out across Asia Pacific from August 2011.

As part of the launch promotion, Printmytrip will be offered free of charge to interested travel agencies until the end of October 2011.
