Pure One Travel launches Egypt rail tour
Tour operator PURE ONE announced the launch of a first ever Egypt by rail itinerary.
The new 10 Days True Egypt by Train journey is an experience-led small-group tour offering travellers the rare opportunity to explore Egypt’s most iconic landscapes and historic sites on the upgraded sleeper train service between Cairo and Aswan.
The programme represents one of the most distinctive ways to experience Egypt by rail journey along the Nile corridor.
“This is a truly special journey,” said Wesley Baker, Founder of PURE ONE.
“Egypt by sleeper train adds a completely different dimension to the experience.”
The 10-day itinerary is designed to showcase Egypt’s most iconic locations.
PURE ONE Travel says the programme has been designed to stand apart from conventional Egypt tours.
Rather than focusing purely on sightseeing, the itinerary combines history, landscape, cultural immersion and a unique mode of travel.
“Most Egypt trips move quickly between locations. This journey is about experiencing the the landscapes, the journey itself, and the feeling of travelling through one of the world’s great civilisations,” Baker added.
The True Egypt by Train programme is designed as a seamless travel experience, combining transport, accommodation and guided exploration.
The tour is available across multiple departures, including:
2026: 14th September – 23rd September, 28th September – 7th October, 19th October – 28th October
2027: 15th March – 24th March, 29th March – 7th April, 27th September – 6th October, 18th October – 27th October
PURE ONE Travel says there has been renewed interest in Egypt as a travel destination, with travellers increasingly seeking culturally rich experiences.
