Qantas expands code share agreement with India’s Jet Airways
Qantas yesterday announced it was expanding its code-share arrangement with Indian carrier Jet Airways, with customers of the Mumbai-based airline now be able to travel on Qantas flights between Australia and Singapore and then connect to Jet Airways services from Singapore to India.
Qantas Group GM Sales and Distribution, Rob Gurney, said Australia’s growing trade relationship with India had created increased demand and the agreement would complement existing services, which operated three times a week between Sydney and Mumbai, but it is not known if this service is included in the code share arrangement.
