Qantas International CEO standing down
The chief executive of Qantas International division is stepping down.
The airline announced the impending departure of Alison Webster in a stock exchange filing.
Webster will leave on April 24 and will be replaced by former Qantas CFO Narendra Kumar in an interim capacity.
A permanent replacement for Webster will be announced in due course.
No official reason was given for Webster’s departure.
She has held the international CEO position for the past 18 months and previously led the Freight, Catering & Airports division.
