Qantas lifts vaccination requirement
Qantas will drop its Covid-19 vaccination requirement for all passengers next week
It follows latest health advice from the federal government, and the recent easing of border controls.
“From 19 July 2022 the Qantas Group will no longer require passengers on international flights operated by the Qantas Group to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19,” Qantas said.
“Vaccination against Covid-19 may still be required by certain countries, so passengers should check the requirements of the country they are travelling to.
“Qantas Group employees will still need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in line with Qantas Group policy.”
The airline said masks are still required on certain domestic flights.
The airline recently scrapped mandatory masks for passengers flying to destinations where masks are no longer required.
