Qantas and Australian Airlines will carry stranded Air Paradise ticket holders back to Australia from Bali following the Indonesian carrier’s announcement today that it would cease operations.

Qantas Executive General Manager John Borghetti said stranded passengers with Air Paradise tickets would be accommodated at no cost on Qantas and Australian Airlines services from Bali to Australia up to 10 December.

“For passengers wishing to leave Bali immediately, we are finalising plans to operate special Qantas services tomorrow and Friday from Bali to Perth,” Mr Borghetti said.

“We will operate more special services if required, however we expect to be able to accommodate all remaining passengers on our scheduled services over the coming weeks,” he said.

“The Qantas Group offer is also extended to Air Paradise ticket holders from Indonesia who are stranded in Australia.”

Air Paradise ticket holders who have already departed, and are currently in Indonesia, should call Qantas on (0361) 288331 or toll free on 001 803 61336, or alternatively 001 61 7 32387776, to be booked onto Qantas or Australian Airlines services.

Customers with existing Qantas and Australian Airlines bookings are not required to reconfirm their booking, however are advised to allow additional time for checking in at Denpasar.

Mr Borghetti said Qantas and Australian Airlines would also make fares available for purchase for those Air Paradise customers who had tickets to travel from Australia to Bali, but had not departed, and still wished to travel.

For more information about fares, passengers can contact Qantas on 13 13 13.
