Qantas hopes to boost ticket sales with a new ‘fly now, pay later’ deal. The airline teamed up with buy now, pay later provider Zip to spread the cost of travel with flexible repayments.
Customers can also accrue Qantas Points on the payment as well as on the flight itself. Virgin Australia also partners with Zip while Jetstar customers can pay in instalments through Afterpay.
“The option to buy now, pay later through Zip gives our customers more choice in how they pay for their flights,” says Qantas Loyalty CEO Olivia Wirth.
