Qatar Airways, Xiamen Airlines launch new codeshare partnership
Qatar Airways inked a new codeshare partnership with China’s Xiamen Airlines.
It follows the upcoming launch of Xiamen Airlines’ Doha flights from 20 October 2023.
Xiamen Airlines will launch daily Doha flights from Beijing’s Daxing International Airport on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
Xiamen Airlines will also fly to Doha twice a week from Xiamen.
These are the first direct flights to Doha operated by a Chinese carrier.
Qatar Airways will codeshare on these new flights, boosting its connectivity to Mainland China.
It flies to six destinations with a total of 31 weekly flights as well as double daily flights to Hong Kong.
Xiamen Airlines will place its code on Qatar Airways flights to and from Beijing.
Xiamen Airlines is a member of the SkyTeam Alliance and was established nearly 40 years ago.
