Qatar increases its service out of Manchester
Qatar Airways is increasing its flights between Doha and Manchester from February 15 next year.
The new outbound QR26 and inbound QR25 will operate on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, bringing the total number of flights per week non-stop between Manchester and Doha to 14.
Qatar Airways UK and Ireland country manager, Richard Oliver, said: "Increasing services to and from Manchester to a double daily operation will provide our passengers with more convenient connection times and greater choice when connecting to onward flights through our newly opened Doha hub, Hamad International Airport.
"Combined with our recent announcement of the expansion of the Edinburgh service to a daily operation from May 2015, this means that Qatar Airways will operate a total of 63 direct services to Doha a week from the UK providing even more access to 145 destinations worldwide."
The Manchester to Doha service, which commenced in 2003, recently celebrated a decade of scheduled operations.
