Qatar to use second A380 on Heathrow route
Qatar Airways is introducing a second Airbus A380 on its Heathrow to Doha route from July 1, replacing the current A330.
Flight QR002 will depart Heathrow at 21.30 and arrive in Doha 06.10 the following morning.
Flight QR001 departs Doha at 12.35 and arrvives at London Heathrow at 17.55 the same day.
On the A380 there are a total of 517 seats, with eight in First Class, 48 in Business Class and 461 seats in Economy Class.
First and Business class passengers enjoy 180 degree flat-beds while in Economy Class, the seats offer a seven-inch recline.
UK and Ireland country manager, Richard Oliver, said: "We are delighted to be able to offer a second A380 service from London Heathrow to Doha in response to an increase in demand from our passengers."
