Cunard says its recent Queen Anne competition has been the cruise line’s most successful travel agent incentive ever.
The competition gave agents the opportunity to win a place on Queen Anne’s operational test overnight in Southampton on April 29.
To be in with a chance to win, travel agents had to register their interest on Shine Rewards Club, with all subsequent bookings counted as an entry.
During the competition window, which closed on March 10, a record-breaking 5,626 bookings were submitted via 856 individual travel agents.
Of the total number of Cunard Fare bookings made during the competition, over 90% were entered into the draw, marking the best uptake the line has experienced for a travel agent competition.
Cunard’s Shine Rewards Club is a points-based loyalty and rewards scheme that offers Shine points for the bookings they make and training completed.
Shine Rewards Club also shares the latest news and information about Cunard and is a hub of training support and other resources.
It includes how-to guides and frequently asked questions.
Angus Struthers, VP of Global Marketing at Cunard, said: “The excitement for the arrival of Queen Anne is growing by the day and the phenomenal engagement proved that our valued travel agent partners are feeling the same way.”
