Ratner to speak at timeshare conference
Former jewellery chain boss Gerald Ratner is to deliver one of the keynote addresses at the Organisation for Timeshare in Europe’s conference.
Ratner, who now runs discount jewellery business GeraldOnline, will share his story of re-invention at the event in the Czech Republic.
The eighth annual European Timeshare Business Forum – designated OTE8 – is being held in Prague on November 3-5.
With the theme ‘Taking the Lead,’ OTE8 will explore ways to accelerate the pace of change and growth in European timeshare.
OTE chief executive Anthony Arke said: “Innovation, Interactive and Information – the ‘three IIIs’ – are central features of the conference.
“This year we have set out to restructure and reinvigorate the format and make it a ‘must to attend’ for any serious player in the timeshare industry.”
A new i-ZONE interactive area promoting the latest information on all aspects of the timeshare business will be featured.
Robin Mills, chair of the working group organising OTE8, said: “In the feedback we have had from past conferences, we know that delegates rate networking as a high priority. That is why we have developed more opportunities for networking, using the i-ZONE as a focal point for this key activity.”
