Record breaking travel sales continue at Travel Counsellors
Travel Counsellors reported travel sales for 2022 which continue to break all records.
It marked its best ever November with UK sales up 66% on 2019.
Leisure sales, in particular, show Brits are not giving up on holidays as sales are up by 75% on 2019.
This is reflected in the Travel Counsellor’s November customer survey, that showed 78% will still travel next year.
Winter travel sales are also booming with the company seeing its best ever December departure month.
Travel sales for the winter period are already 25% up on 2019.
CEO Steve Byrne, said: “We have seen higher enquiry levels and value than ever before, as people look towards their 2023 travel.”
“We see a strong return of long-haul holidays including Thailand, Australia and New Zealand.”
“We are focused on continuing to support our Travel Counsellors.”
All markets are outperforming 2019.
