Record number of agents at Taste of PATA London
Last week, Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), UK & Ireland hosted its annual flagship training event – TASTE of PATA in London, attracting its best ever attendance with over 300 travel agents from across the UK.
The event acknowledging the passing of HRH Queen Elizabeth II, as PATA Chairman Chris Crampton led a minute’s silence followed by a toast to honour new monarch, King Charles III..
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. Her dedicated service to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth was extraordinary. We reflect on her contribution to our 19 Asia and Pacific member states, we’re reminded of her unwavering commitment.”
“The ‘Million Mile Monarch’ travelled the world visiting more than 120 countries and spent a large part of her time in the commonwealth, most recently during her Golden Jubilee year including Australia and New Zealand.”
Along with over thirty prize giveaways, the night gave agents the chance to connect with 24 suppliers from across the Pacific Asia region.
