Our client, a global solutions services provider is looking for a dynamic individual to be part of the dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Sales of company’s Corporate Solutions portfolio (including Consulting) and related solutions directly to the corporate sector. Includes the coordination and execution of the sales process with the customer and all required internal parties, including the management of the commercial and legal framework –and- preparation and negotiation of corporate/reseller bids from proposal through to Contract signature.
Individual must have experience in Corporate Travel Management in Asia Pacific. Specifically the individual must have had contractual responsibility for selecting preferred vendors, including but not limited to airlines, rental cars, hotels, credit cards and technology.
Experience of rolling out an online booking tool programme is beneficial.
Responsible for achieving sales targets for corporate solutions, in the Asia Pacific Region. This will include the sale and development of a Travel Management Consultancy Package.
Manage and provide process engineering & strategic commercial consultancy to company’s Corporate Solutions customers. eg: Business modelling, Return on Investment, Adoption Programs, process engineering programs.
Build, implement and manage Adoption programs to boost business volumes through all existing accounts and new customer accounts in the region.
Customer Management for Corporate Solutions Accounts in Asia Pacific.
Provide detailed analytical reporting for the Asia Pacific region on a monthly basis or as required.
Build and deliver performance review and regional strategy presentations to Senior Management as required.
Deliver strategic commercial presentations at regional industry and customer events, as required.
Requirements:
EDUCATION: Tertiary qualification in Information Technologies, Business Administration or a combination. An MBA, project management and affiliation with professional bodies are desirable.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years experience as a Corporate Travel Manager in a regional (Asia Pacific) role. Extensive experience in travel management of a corporate account greater than $75 m annual travel spend or equivalent experience in a related industry or environment. Proven track record in sales.
SKILLS:
Strong Procurement and supplier management skills; successfully implemented effective travel management principles and techniques on a regional basis.
Strong vendor management background. History of successful development and implementation of technology solutions to support programmes with documented savings and returns.
Highly developed consultative selling and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong inter-personal and networking skills, with an ability to establish key contacts at all levels of the client organisation.
A good team player with the ability to manage and synergise multi-functional teams i.e. Product and implementation specialists and Reseller Business Partners, to design solutions that meet complex customer requirements. Demonstrates empathy with other cultures.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Excellent understanding of the Travel and GDS industries and related technology (all channels).
