Resort Asia 2007 is canned
SINGAPORE: The Resort Asia 2007 show, scheduled to be held from June 27-30 on Tanjong Beach, Sentosa, has been cancelled due to lack of interest.
SingEx Exhibitions Pte Ltd said “the delay in confirmed participation from international key participants has resulted in the organisers not being able to deliver a high quality event as have been promised”.
Organisers said it would announce any further developments in due course and that the event had been “postponed” rather than cancelled.
Lack of interest in the event is also a blow to Singapore, which has been working hard to establish itself as Meetings Central in Asia.
