Riviera Nayarit Tourist Board taps UK agents
Mexico’s Pacific Coast tourism hotspot Riviera Nayarit has launched the Riviera Nayarit Showcase, an online training portal dedicated to UK travel agents.
The aim of the portal is to provide support for agents to build destination knowledge and provide all of the necessary tools and information for agents to sell the destination for the autumn to winter season and beyond.
Marc Murphy of Riviera Nayarit, said: "Given the challenges over the last 18 months, we need to ensure that agents have all the required tools and information to sell Riviera Nayarit. The agents are an essential part of our success story".
The training portal offers various tools and practical information including images, videos, hotels fact sheets, maps and more.
UK travel trade partners can also win various incentive prize stays after completing the video units and questionnaires.
Hotels that have partnered in the training programme include Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, St. Regis Punta Mita Resort, Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta, Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta and others.
Riviera Nayarit is known for pristine beaches, year-round average temperature of 27 degrees, seafood and authentic Huichol art and culture.
